Entrepreneurship Overview
This course is designed to introduce the student to the world of entrepreneurship including but not limited to the history of entrepreneurship, the role of entrepreneurs in the U.S. economy, famous entrepreneurs, and the ability to determine if entrepreneurship may play a part in their future.
Goals:
1. Students will acquire a basic entrepreneurial vocabulary.
2. Students will become familiar with the basic elements of a business plan.
3. Students will obtain additional business math skills and computer skills.
4. Students will gain a better understanding of entrepreneurial traits.
5. Students will gain a better understanding of business/entrepreneurship as a possible college major.
